Overview
The Midway City Planning and Zoning Department is responsible for guiding the city’s physical development through collaborative efforts with residents, city departments, and potential developers, ensuring a sustainable community that is both an attractive living environment for its citizens and economically sound. The department’s staff also offers direct support to various Boards, Commissions, and Committees. Additionally, the Planning Department is tasked with maintaining and updating the City’s Zoning/Development Code, Zoning Maps, and the General Plan of Midway City, as well as conducting long-term planning for the city’s future expansion.
