PUBLIC WORKS CREW CHIEF
MIDWAY CITY has a full time opening with benefits for a Public Works Crew Chief. This person should have experience working for the public works department in a small city or town or extensive construction experience. This person supervises, manages, and works with public crews; assigns crews to the tasks for each department and assists in the completion of tasks. Schedules workloads; and priorities of Public Works projects and tasks for the care and maintenance of the City’s parks, cemetery, roads, water system, equipment and snow removal. State water certification highly desirable. Must be available for twenty-four hour call out and have excellent communication skills and supervisory experience. Will work in extreme weather conditions, Needs to be able to lift and/or carry fifty pounds. Needs to have a Utah CDL driver’s license or be willing to obtain one within ninety days. Salary is DOE. CLEANING SERVICES
MIDWAY CITY is looking for an individual(s) or cleaning service to clean our City Offices, Town Hall, Community Center and occasionally our Shelter. The individual will be responsible for weekly light cleaning and needs to be available to do clean up at the Town Hall and Community Center after large groups have used the facilities, which includes cleaning the hardwood floors in the Town Hall. Tours of the facilities can be arranged. Quotes will be received at the City Office, via e-mail to jrasmussen@midwaycityut.org or faxed to 435-654-4120. This is a good opportunity for couples or as a second job.
