Independence Day Weekend in Midway
Date: July 4th WEEKEND
We have a full weekend of activities planned, starting on the 2nd with Plein Aire and The Concert in the Park.
Then on the 3rd, the Plein Aire Paint Out, Main Street Musicians, dance, and FIREWORKS on Memorial Hill.
And then on the 5th, we gather at the Town Square Pavilion for a Sun Rise Service, on July 5th, with a special speaker and inspirational words. The cannons will fire at 6:30 a.m. and the Sun Rise Service will begin at 7:00 a.m.
Immediately afterwards, on the 5th, we will have a Pioneer Breakfast! The Young Men and Young Women from the Midway 4th Ward will serve you up a hot plate of eggs, ham, and pancakes. Served with milk and juice -- what's not to enjoy? The proceeds will go to support various youth activities for the year. Later in the evening enjoy " A Glance at the Past" and the Plein Aire Exhibit.
